A hand-carved black soapstone mortar and pestle from India, standing 4 inches tall with a 3 inch diameter. Twin pentacles are deeply etched on opposite sides, and the interior bowl is smooth and balanced, with natural stone color and texture varying slightly piece to piece.

Heavy and non-porous, suited to grinding herbs, resins, spell powders, incense, and kitchen witch recipes, and a grounded piece to keep at the altar.
